How much concrete does a mixer make per batch?

Plan on roughly two thirds of the drum size. A 5 cu ft drum gives about 3 cu ft of mixed concrete.

Electric or gas mixer?

Electric mixers suit small jobs with an outlet. Gas mixers suit larger pours and sites without power.
