The Grip-Rite GR200FS drives 15 to 15-1/2 gauge flooring staples through the tongue of tongue-and-groove hardwood at a 45 degree angle. You set it on the board edge and strike it with the mallet, and it drives the staple in one blow and pulls the board tight. It fits flooring from 1/2 in to about 3/4 in thick and runs on an air compressor.
