The PAS2400 moves up to 2,100 CFM on high and 700 CFM on low through a certified True HEPA filter that captures 99.97% of particles at 0.3 microns. Run it free-standing as an air scrubber to clean the air in a room, or connect flex duct and use it as a negative air machine to keep dust and spores inside a containment.
Its 1.5 horsepower motor and backward-curved blower overcome up to 60% more static resistance than typical 2,000 CFM negative air units, so it keeps moving air as the filters load. It is ETL certified for 115 V, 15 amp circuits and draws 12 amps or less, so you do not need a special outlet.

The PAS2400 comes with three filter stages, a molded inlet and outlet manifold for flex duct and a locking duct clamp. Warning lights on the control panel tell you when to replace the pre-filter and the HEPA filter. We carry replacement filters, so ask for them when you request a quote.
- Stage 1: F1821 Fiber-Trapper pre-filter, 1 in deep, catches large particles and protects the other filters.
- Stage 2: H1902 pleated particulate filter, 2 in deep, catches most visible dust.
- Optional carbon stage: VL2002 Vapor-Lock carbon filter, 2 in deep, for odors, smoke and VOCs.
- Final stage: H2418-99 HEPA filter, metal frame, 99.97% at 0.3 micron.

How big an area can one PAS2400 clean?
Divide the airflow by the room volume. On high the PAS2400 moves 2,100 CFM, which is 126,000 cubic feet per hour. In a 10,000 cubic foot room (about 1,250 sq ft with 8 ft ceilings) that is about 12 air changes per hour. Check the air change rate your project spec calls for.
Can I plug it into a regular outlet?
Yes. The PAS2400 is ETL certified for 115 V, 15 amp circuits and draws 12 amps or less. Use a circuit that is not shared with other heavy loads, and if you need an extension cord, use a 12/3 cord no longer than 50 ft.
What is the difference between an air scrubber and a negative air machine?
It is the same machine set up two ways. As an air scrubber it sits in the room and recirculates cleaned air. As a negative air machine you duct the exhaust outside the work area, which pulls the room under negative pressure so dust and spores stay inside the containment.
Does it fit through doorways and up stairs?
Yes. It splits into two modules, the upper pre-filter module lifts off by hand, and the dolly has a built-in stair climber and swivel front casters for tight halls.
Should I rent the PAS2400 or the Dri-Eaz HEPA 500?
Pick the PAS2400 for large areas, long duct runs and negative air containment, since it moves up to 2,100 CFM. Pick the Dri-Eaz HEPA 500 for smaller rooms or when you need a light 44 lb unit you can stack or daisy chain.
